I sourced new materials and processes to reduce the weight and increase the durability of trekking and hunting shoes.
In close collaboration with an R&D center, I developed various combinations of materials and woven fabric patterns, resulting in a design of experiments to determine the best combinations for the desired product benefits (tensile strength, tear resistance, abrasion resistance).
