To move people through the wonders of sport, design and producing quality product is fundamental.
Behind the scenes, this achievement is the result of two years of dedicated teamwork from Design to Production.
As a production lead, I act as the local liaison, ensuring seamless product creation between HQ and industrial partners. For this product, my responsibilities included managing material creation from Development to Industrialization, meeting the strict requirements set by the Material Developer:
Development Stage: I worked closely with the supplier to develop materials that meet strict technical requirements based on ISO Standards. After on-field testing approval of the finished product, I signed the master sample and technical data sheet with the supplier to ensure quality conformity during production.
Industrialization Stage: By launching a pilot run (a small production lot), I verified that the material met technical specifications through on-site visual inspections and third-party testing validation.
Bulk Production Stage: I digitally monitored material quality performance (return quantity, internal supplier testing) to promptly address any defects reported in the finished product with a problem-solving mindset.
Never in my career did I imagine I would one day work on products serving Olympic athletes, especially under these special circumstances. 😁
When I embarked on this career path, my dream was to work on products for the FIFA World Cup.
My close friends know I am a die-hard football fan.
Contributing to the Olympic Games is already a surprising and great achievement for me. 😍
While I still aspire to enhance athletes' performance in the FIFA World Cup, I am now equally passionate about preserving the great outdoors.
Protecting our larger playing field is crucial to supporting the entire sports community in tackling climate change.
Working on a FIFA World Cup product remains my ultimate goal, but achieving sustainable innovation is an important milestone I aim to accomplish first.
